THE FCPO PURPOSE

THE FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN PEACE
OFFICERS (FCPO) is a ministry comprised
of Christian men and women from all areas
of the criminal justice system.  By mid
1995, there were more than 3500 members
affiliated with over 60 active chapters in
the U.S. Individually and through their chapters
they have joined together for three purposes:
Support of the accountability with Christian
officers in their and other area agencies;
To become more effective witnesses for
Christ to those around them;
To learn how to disciple and train others
to carry out the Great Commission.
There is a strong common bond shared
by those in law enforcement, especially
those who are Believers.  We enjoy a
camaraderie which cannot be imitated
by anyone outside our unique profession.
Because of this special relationship, we are
often provided with opportunities to share our faith with colleagues "hard to reach" by others in the Christian
community.  Through FCPO we are further "banded
together" to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to
our peers and fellow workers.  Through the
discipleship process, FCPO members
teach others how to integrate Christ and
Christian principles into their work, daily
life and relationships.

Just think, you're here not by chance,
but by God's choosing.  His hand formed
you and made you the person you are.
He compares you to no one else -
you are one of a kind.  You lack nothing
that His grace can't give you.  He has
allowed you to be here at this time in history
to fulfill His special purpose for this generation.
