Fees for reports
is as follows:
(These fees must
be paid in advance)
The front page of an accident report is still FREE of charge.
The complete accident report is $4.00.
Copy of one complaint is $5.00
Copy of one incident report is $5.00
Request for one criminal history (in house only) is $10.00
(This report will only tell you if the person has a record
with our department or not. The report will not provide
detailed information about the individual or the contents.)
If the search for a complaint or incident is not in the computer base, it requires a "manual search". This type of search is based on an hourly wage of $9.00 per hour plus cost of of the report. A deposit of $24.00 must be paid at the time of the request and the balance due when the document is picked up. This fee also applies for requests to examine records. Requests to examine, must be made 24 hours prior to the time and date of examination, as addition staff will be necessary to comply with your request.
When you make a request for a report, you will fill out a request form and pay for the report in advance. In this manner, the department does not suffer unnecessary strains to the budget for time and supplies in retrieving reports that are not picked up. Please give advanced notice to report requests, as there are times the search can not be administered at the time the request is made. However, most requests can be immediate or within 24 hours.
